No alarm, no hurry, we didn’t wake up until nine o’clock Central time.

The alarm went off at 4:30, we grabbed our swimsuits and were headed down the road to swim at the YMCA with Kayla by 4:45.

Ed surprised us with a breakfast casserole that was so good I may have eyed and eaten the leftovers the next day too.

7:45am we rolled out of the driveway for the second time this summer for a little cross-state jaunt.
