Cody started the morning with a little swing in his hammock, a small drenching at the water faucet and then on to working on his Snap Circuits.
The campsite was a narrow three tiered site. The kids set up their hammocks below the site.

Lake James State Park. We happened to hit the beach on a free day. The beach, showers, and bathrooms were extremely nice.
After a day at the beach we needed to dry out the towels
The boys were hot; the shirts had to go
Butterfly pee?
We spent the evening making some Taco Mac, playing cards, and watching a butterfly leave a donation on Cody’s sandal over and over. Brooke was disappointed that we only had salsa and not Taco Sauce for the Taco Mac. Her famous quote for the evening, “It’s always something with this Taco Mac!”
Cody made friends with the boy in the site across from ours. Cody was rollerblading while his new friend was on his scooter.
I requested that we go on a family walk since it was too hot for anyone to sleep.
On our walk we came across a toad reenacting the game of Frogger.
This was our last night of camping together. The next day we were moving on to see the cousin’s and Scott’s sister’s family.
