The weather was…

not conducive to any outdoor activities.

Thus we headed to the mall to walk around and eat lunch out of the rain.  We walked around, made a few phone calls, and pretended to buy ice cream from Brooke who was thoroughly enjoying an ice cream truck.  Then we headed to Ship Creek to try to see some Salmon swimming.  (Even the Slamon were apparently tired of the rain.) The kids were able to take a nap while I tried to hunt up some Salmon.  Then we headed back to our wet tent and campground.  Scott thankfully cooked up some dinner in the rain and even made some no bake cookies for us to enjoy while we watched Back to the Future again. (It was Brooke’s turn to pick the movie.)

It wasn’t a super exciting day because almost everything was closed as it was Sunday.  However, the rain did give us a chance to truly pinpoint what we wanted to do if and when it ever did stop raining…

It looks like Mator, Cody’s tow truck, is watching him sleep…

Ship Creek.  The weather is very conducive to growing vegetation, but as far as having activities for the kids to do…. it has left us up Ship Creek without a paddle.
