So April asked me a good question the other day.  What are the goals of a trip or travelling in general.  This is going to be a bit of a long answer so I’ll start with a few bullets and expound upon them as time permits.

• Quality time with family
• Learn together, experience together
• Opportunity to meet others and live other perspectives
• Time for reflection
• Learn how little of modern “necessities” are truly important
